About PetExpress

The journey of Pet Express began in 2010, when I was just 24 years old.

One day, I met a distressed British gentleman who was desperately trying to find a way to relocate his beloved dog to the United Kingdom. At the time, I knew nothing about international pet relocation, but I decided to help. That experience opened my eyes to a major gap in Sri Lanka; there was simply no reliable support for families needing to move their pets overseas.

Inspired by that moment, I founded Pet Express with no capital, no employees, and no prior experience in the pet relocation industry. What I did have was determination. I dedicated myself to learning every aspect of international pet transportation, building relationships with trusted partners around the world, and creating a service that pet owners could genuinely rely on.

Today, Pet Express has grown into Sri Lanka's leading international pet relocation company, supported by a global network of more than 100 licensed partner offices worldwide.

For me, Pet Express has never been just about transporting pets. It's about keeping families together, giving pet owners peace of mind, and ensuring every pet's journey is handled with the same care, compassion, and professionalism that I would want for my own.
