As per the animal quarantine regulations of Sri Lanka, all cats and dogs are subject for a mandatory quarantine health inspection before being released to the pet owner. Accordingly, once the Customs Clearance is done, all pets will be transferred to the Katunayake Animal Quarantine Station for the aforementioned quarantine health inspection.
